Squadron Update 15/05/33o7

It's been an eventful month for Palcon. We travelled to Colonia, then Sag A* on The Ferret. We helped our allies HYCO in Udihikoja and bid farewell to Sandy Ring in it's current form ahead of the new planetary tech that launches with Odyssey. It was another month of wing missions, with an impressive 4551 mission points between all of our CMDRs on Jegin.net. Systems are stable, save for a few drops in Reddot and a few pushes in Nemet. If you haven't already, make sure you sign up to Jegin.net, download the EDMC plugin (posted in #bgs-operations) and let me know so I can add you to the list.

As we gear up for the Odyssey launch, Noduran and I would like to thank you all for your hard work to the Palcon cause over the last month. We know it's not been an easy time for a lot of you during the pandemic, but we hope that having a group that flies together has helped ease that burden a little bit. We're excited to announce that we'll be launching the Paladin Support Initiative in the next few weeks, providing BGS support, mining expeditions, deep space support and mercenary services to the wider Elite:Dangerous community. More details will be published soon and we hope that you'll enjoy having the opportunity to put your skills to good use for our existing and future allies.

We'll also be launching a project to help find new and interesting places to race, explore, fight and generally have fun as well as a re-visit to our ringed planets to find hotspots for mining. As always, if you have an event you'd like us to try, ping myself or any of The Committee and we'll try to accommodate. Starting in June we'll do a monthly meeting in Discord voice, probably preceded by an all out fight to the death, or something similar.

If you have anything you'd like me to highlight in the next update, feel free to ping or DM me at any time.

Until next month CMDRs, fly safe o7
